Please join us in honoring Black History Month by watching the 1969 film The Learning Tree, restored and preserved by the Criterion Collection. Written and directed by Gordon Parks, who "not only became the first Black American director to make a Hollywood studio film, he also served as writer, producer, and composer, resulting in a deeply personal artistic achievement." (via Criterion Collection website)

The film is 107 minutes long and will start promptly at 6:45pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
